WB Reportedly Eyeing Alexander Skarsgard as Hawkman For Black Adam

Despite the recent coronavirus outbreak delaying productions, pre-production for Black Adam has been moving largely unabated with casting now underway, the most recent of which was Noah Centineo being cast as Justice League of America member, Atom Smasher.

Now, it seems like casting is moving full steam ahead in filling out the key roles for the movie with a new rumor of who exactly Warner Brothers has in mind to play the Carter Hall incarnation of Hawkman.

According to The Illuminerdi, Warner Brothers is eyeing Alexander Skarsgard as Hawkman in Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s Black Adam. He’s most well known for his roles in The Legend Of Tarzan alongside Margot Robbie and Big Little Lies, which won him an Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actor

The Illuminerdi also reports that while Skarsgard is the front runner for Hawkman, if his casting for the role doesn’t pan out, WB would approach Sam Heughan instead. While his last superhero movie venture was Bloodshot, he’s more appreciated in his role as Jamie Fraser on Outlander.
