After hearing for months about different names the studio was looking for, from Glow’s Alison Brie to Brooklyn 99’s Stephanie Beatriz, Marvel Studios has officially found its leading woman for the new Disney+ series. Maslany has built quite the career over the last few years, including major roles in shows like HBO’s Perry Mason along with her work on Orphan Black, and she becomes the next female face of the MCU by landing this highly coveted role.
According to a new report from Deadline, Marvel Studios has cast Tatiana Maslany in the role of Jennifer Walters/She-Hulk for the upcoming Disney+ mini-series She-Hulk. The Orphan Black star joins on shortly after the show signed on Kat Coiro as the director.
