The latest information surrounding Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness reads: Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness is an upcoming 2021 computer animated series that is a part of the Resident Evil franchise by Capcom.
It is being created by Capcom in collaboration with Netflix. It will serve as a sequel to the previous Resident Evil CGI movies, with Leon S. Kennedy and Claire Redfield returning as major characters, after having last appeared together in 2008’s Resident Evil: Degeneration.
Netflix released the teaser trailer for Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness following the series’ official announcement at this weekend’s Tokyo Game Show. Originally thought to be a movie, Infinite Darkness will follow well-known Resident Evil characters, Leon S. Kennedy and Claire Redfield.
The series includes Hiroyuki Kobayashi of Capcom as an executive producer and is animated by the animation studio, Quebico.
