Even though Kevin Feige clearly hears the rumors and cries of MCU fans, he remains firmly steadfast in terms of keeping the title of this movie a secret.
During a press interview for Disney+’s WandaVision with ComicBook.com, Marvel Studios CCO Kevin Feige revealed that he is still amazed at the fact that the third Spider-Man movie in the MCU is becoming a reality. He also teased how important the multiverse will be in this movie, especially since it directly ties in with Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness:
Feige revealed the shorthand title that the team is using for Spider-Man 3, but he also confirmed that the real title of this movie is not what it’s commonly called right now
“We call it Homecoming 3. It’s not Spider-Man 3,”
This isn’t the first time that Feige and Marvel Studios have taken this approach, as they famously held the title of the fourth Avengers movie close to the vest for over a year. The title wasn’t revealed to be Avengers: Endgame until the first trailer for the movie released in December 2018.
