Marvel Confirms WandaVision Takes Place Before Spider-Man: Far From Home

WandaVision almost certainly taking place in the year 2023 – the same as Avengers: Endgame – means that the events of the series happen before those of the only other project Marvel Studio has released since Spider-Man: Far From Home. That series is set the summer after the Blip, and it seems about a year passes between the events of the two movies.

During the scene in which Monica Rambeau returns to her workplace at S.W.O.R.D. in WandaVision’s fourth episode, acting director of the organization Tyler Hayward tells her, “It’s been three weeks and you’re the first to report,” referring to Rambeau being the first to return to her position after being dusted five years earlier and subsequently restored by the Blip

While three weeks have passed between the Blip in Avengers: Endgame and the beginning of WandaVision’s events, it’s not clear how much time has passed since we last saw Wanda Maximoff herself in the MCU, which was during Tony Stark’s funeral. It’s likely that this was just a day or two after Endgame’s final battle, which would still leave about three weeks between her talk with Clint Barton about lost loved ones and the beginning of the sitcom takeover of Westview
