The Knightmare sequence in Zack Snyder’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice certainly gained notoriety after Barry Allen kicked off a crazy dream for Bruce Wayne while fighting against Clark Kent. The scene was included in both the original cut of the movie and the extended cut, but it didn’t seem as though it was something that would continue in other movies.In a post on his Vero account, DCEU director Zack Snyder shared a look at Ben Affleck’s Batman from the Snyder Cut of Justice League.
The image shows the Knightmare version of the Dark Knight in a shot from behind, along with “ZackSnydersJusticeLeague” and “#SnyderCut” over the picture. Also included is the caption “OkNow that Zack Snyder has double the amount of screentime in the Snyder Cut as he did in the original, this picture could very well tease the return of this Knightmare version of the Caped Crusader. It’s a mystery where it will fit into the plot of the story, but the same could be said about numerous other storylines, like those for Jared Leto’s Joker and Amber Heard’s Mera
